APPETAIS, HISTORY OF A BRAND Appetais Italia S.p.A. is the result of the merging of two companies: Comisal International and -45. The former was launched in the '60s by Palmera, Star and other partners, its specialization being the research and purchasing of sea products for the industry. -45 was created in the '70s and specialized in frozen food processing and packaging. In the '90s, the merge of the two companies gives rise to a new industrial group, which can boast the know-how and expertise of the many years spent in the industry. Strong innovation in technology, big customer focus and new research and control process management have led to the creation of a new brand, Appetais Italia, in 2001.
